Africa
is the world's second-largest and second most-populous continent,
after Asia. The continent of Africa is the birthplace of
the human species between 8 million and 5 million years
ago.
Africa
is made up of 54 states and it is so rich and diverse in
it's ethnic and tribal cultures, it’s people and the
countries. The main ethno-linguistic divisions are Afro-Asiatic
(North Africa, Chad, Horn of Africa), Niger-Congo (mostly
Bantu) in most of Sub-Saharan Africa, Nilo-Saharan in parts
of the Sahara and the Sahel and parts of Eastern Africa,
and Khoisan (indigenous minorities of Southern Africa).
Africa’s
art and craft, music, and oral literature document and preserve
the essence of the ethnic and tribal cultures.
