Welcome to the home of African Alliance of Rhode Island (AARI).

For many years, Rhode Island has been home to many of us from the continent of Africa. Today, there are over 75 thousands Africans from 40 African countries living in Rhode Island. Two years ago, AARI was formed to represent the interests of all Africansfrom students, a few Tanzanians, Kenyans, Congolese to the large populations of Liberians, Nigerians etc. AARI seeks to find  answers to the series of challenges before us, as well as celebrating the cultures that unite Africans. AARI continues to work with state, city agencies and existing organizations within the African communities.

You may volunteer to serve on any of the committees involved in immigration, education & awareness, health, outreach or special events. You and your friends are welcome to join us at the next Board Meeting. Come meet our committed Board of Directors. We take very seriously our responsibility as stewards of the African communities.
